BiographyTim Robbins, 16 Ekim 1958'de West Covina, Kaliforniya'da doğan Amerikalı aktör ve müzisyendir. 1981'de üniversiteden mezun olduktan sonra John Cusack ile The Actors' Gang adlı deneysel tiyatro grubunu kurdu. Sinema kariyerinde Top Gun, Bull Durham, Jacob's Ladder, The Player, The Shawshank Redemption, Mystic River ve War of the Worlds gibi önemli yapımlarda rol aldı. 1995'te Dead Man Walking ile yönetmenlik de yaptı. Özellikle The Shawshank Redemption filmindeki Andy Dufresne rolüyle dünya çapında tanınan Robbins, oyunculuğunun yanı sıra tiyatro ve müzik çalışmalarıyla da kariyerini sürdürmektedir.
