1956 yılında Anamur’da doğdu.İlk, orta, lise öğrenimini Anamur’da tamamladı.İstanbul Edebiyat Fakültesi ve İstanbul Yüksek Öğretmen Okulunu bitirdikten sonra çeşitli liselerde öğretmenlik yaptı.
Anamur Lisesi ve Anamur Ticaret Lisesinde görevlerde bulundu.23 yıldır Konya ilinde dershane öğretmenliği yapmaktadır.Doğuş ve Alkış adında iki çocuk babasıdır,İstanbul Edebiyat Fakültesi yıllarında kültür ve edebiyatla ilgili "Genç Kalemler Dergisi"nde hikâyeler yazdı.İnternet ortamında halen çeşitli şiirlerini yayımlamaktadır.
