Loek van den Berg Quintet, hikaye anlatıcılığına dayanan besteleri, içten improvisasyonları ve enstrümanlarında mükemmel bir kontrol ile sizi koltuklarınızın ucunda tutacak bir yolculuğa çıkarıyor. Katkılarından dolayı Hollanda Büyükelçiliği’ne teşekkür ederiz.
2019'da ilk kez sahneye çıkan Loek van den Berg Quintet, Hollanda'nın dört bir yanında sahne aldı ve Hindistan, İspanya ve Malta gibi birçok uluslararası tur gerçekleştirdi. Grup “Wayfarer” adlı albümleri ile Edison Caz ödülüne sahip. 2022'de Loek van den Berg, “Wayfarer” adlı albümü ile Hollanda Caz Yarışması'nda en iyi besteci ödülünü kazandı. Aynı yıl grup, Getxo Uluslararası Caz Yarışması'nda 2.lik ödülünü kazandı ve 2019'da Loek, Erasmus Caz Ödülü'nü kazandı.
Yıllar içinde grup, Loek'in melodik ve melankolik besteleri ile karakterize edilen kendi tarzını yarattı. Beş band üyesinin hepsi kendi sesine sahiptir ve şarkılarda kendi yorumları, improvisasyonları ve etkileşimleri hissedilmektedir. Beşli, müzikteki güçlü bağ üzerine kurulmuştur, ki bunu müzikte net bir şekilde duyabilirsiniz. Şu anda grup, "Wayfarer" ile turne yapıyor. Bu albümdeki müzik, manzaralar ve diğer müzik kültürlerinin etkileri büyük bir ilham kaynağı olmuştur.

The Loek van den Berg Quintet takes you on a journey that keeps you on the edge of your seat with their storytelling compositions, heartfelt improvisations, and impeccable control of their instruments. We would like to thank the Embassy of the Netherlands for their contributions.
Their music is something else, and won’t leave you indifferent! You can feel this during their live shows, where the passion and enthusiasm of the band will take you away.
In 2019 the Loek van den Berg Quintet for the first time appeared on stage, and since then
they have been playing all over the Netherlands and have done multiple international tours to for example India, Spain, and Malta. Their album ‘Wayfarer just got awarded the Edison Jazz, Newcomer National and in 2022 Loek won the prize for best composition in the Dutch Jazz Competition, with the titletrack of his album ‘Wayfarer’. In the same year the band won the 2nd prize in the Getxo International Jazz Competition and in 2019 Loek won the Erasmus Jazz Prize. Through the years the Quintet has created an own style characterized by the melodical and melancholical compositions of Loek. Everyone in the band is equal though. All five bandmembers have their own voice, which shines through the songs as there is a lot of room for own interpretation, improvisation and interaction. The quintet is built on a strong bond of friendship, which you can clearly hear in the music. At the moment the band is touring with their Debut-album “Wayfarer”: An imaginary,
storytelling album, in which the compositions take you on the divers travels that Loek made in the last years. Landscapes and influences of other musical cultures have been a big inspiration for the music on this album.
