You are most cordially invited to assemble at Minoa Pera Bookstore for an afternoon of refined enjoyment in honour of the 250th birthday of Miss Jane Austen, whose wit and elegance continue to grace our age as surely as they charmed her own. Over a delightful service of high tea, complete with delicate refreshments, guests shall partake in a most amiable and illuminating conversation led by F. Zeynep Bilge (associate professor of English), who will speak upon Miss Austen’s life, her novels, and the manners of the Regency period.
