"The Last Rite", the film by William Brent Bell, who is considered one of the most successful directors of the horror genre in recent years, deals with the spooky events that took place during the Harvest Festival in a rural town called Berrow. The film is about a young family with pagan roots who move to the town after their mother, Rebecca, is appointed as an assistant nun. Events take a terrifying turn when their daughter, Grace, suddenly disappears during the annual festival. While the police investigation continues, strange events begin to occur during the search and rescue efforts in which the town's residents participate. The family's effort to find their missing daughter will require them to confront the dark secrets that the town of Berrow hides with each passing minute.
