The virtuoso Adam Ben Ezra, identified as the musician who redefined Double Bass and gave it an “entirely new breath of life”, is a multi-instrumentalist musician who has made his foothold in the modern-day world of music; and he is getting ready to bring his enchanting one-man musical feast, which he has been performing all around the world, this time to İstanbul!
With more than 20 million views online and a strong follower fanbase on all social media accounts, Adam is truly a social media star. However, his success in not limited to the web, as proven by so many shows he has performed in the U.S., Europe, and beyond. Adam, who has shared the stage with names such as Snarky Puppy, Pat Metheny, Victor Wooten, and Richard Bona, is not a stranger to large venues and festivals.
Adam, who started playing the violin at the age of 5, the guitar at 9, and through the years, the piano, clarinet, oud, flute, and even BeatBox, respectively, saw that his life changed at the age of 16 when he met Double Bass. Inspired by many different heroes such as Bach, Sting, Bobby McFerrin and Chick Corea, the artist is committed to keeping his compositions as up-to-date and relevant as possible, regardless of the instrument.
Adam’s live performances have naturally evolved and changed form over the years as he not only continues to introduce new elements and instrumentation but also incorporates more electronic elements into his shows. This has given him the freedom to communicate more with the audience, create new cuts, and be more spontaneous while playing.
In this concert, too, Adam will use a clever combination of effects and pedals to bring his notes to the audience with a regular loop in order to present authentic sound integrity at par with a small orchestra and will present us with a colourful musical palette by incorporating Jazz, Funk, Latin and Mediterranean music elements into his compositions.

Changes and Refunds
Purchased tickets cannot be changed or refunded, except in case of cancellation of the event or change of date.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all events in AKM will be subject to specific rules. Everyone who buys a ticket will be assumed to have agreed to these rules and enforcements.
The student ticket is only valid with an available student ID. On the day of the event, the student's identity must be presented to the staff.
AKM Management reserves the right not to admit those who are considered unsuitable for the event by giving them refunds.
For Your Health
In accordance with the circular letter, “Mandatory PCR Test” dated 14.01.2022 issued by the Republic of Türkiye, Ministry of Internal Affairs, it has been decided on the advice of the Coronavirus Science Committee that, due to the recent course of the coronavirus pandemic and its effects on public health, it is no longer necessary to have PCR test scans prior to attending events such as concerts, cinema, or theatre.
During The Event
During the concert, recording with cameras, mobile phones, and other recording equipment is forbidden. Recording devices will not be allowed in the venues.
The events are suitable for participants aged 7 and over.
Once the event begins, no visitors will be allowed in the venue.
Venue Rules
It is required for visitors to arrive and be ready at the entrance 1 hour prior to the event.
The concert halls may change for reasons beyond control. AKM management is sure to change the seating layout, ensuring they assign the spectators a new seat in the changed venue that is closest to the prior ticket number. Purchased tickets will not be refunded due to the change of venue.
Guests are required to comply with the stated seating layout; they are obliged not to change their seats during the event.
It’s forbidden to enter the venues with food and beverages, consume tobacco or tobacco products or use e-cigarettes outside smoke-free areas.
