Altın Palmiye sahibi ünlü Yönetmen Nuri Bilge Ceylan’ın, Taşra Üçlemesi olarak adlandırılan “Kasaba”, “Mayıs Sıkıntısı” ve “Uzak” filmlerinden özen ile seçilmiş on bir sahne üzerine bestelenen caz parçalarından oluşan Taşra Üçlemesi Caz Projesi, Yaşar Kemal Kültür Merkezi sahnesinde caz severler ile buluşuyor. Katkılarından dolayı Çankaya Belediyesi’ne teşekkür ederiz.
Projenin bestecisi piyanist Yiğit Özatalay’a saksafonda Barış Ertürk, davulda Mustafa Kemal Emirel eşlik ediyor. Projenin prömiyeri 16 Haziran 2023 tarihinde Uluslararası İzmir Film ve Müzik Festivali’nin ilk gününde gerçekleşmiş olup, aynı sene içerisinde çeşitli değerli caz festivallerinde yer almaya devam ediyor.
Bu proje, Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı katkıları ile hazırlanmıştır.
Nuri Bilge Ceylan | Taşra Trilogy Jazz Project
The Taşra Trilogy Jazz Project, consisting of jazz pieces composed on eleven scenes carefully selected from the films "Kasaba", "Mayıs Sıkıntısı" and "Uzak", which are called the Taşra Trilogy of the famous director Nuri Bilge Ceylan, the winner of the Palme d'Or, will meet with jazz lovers on the stage of Yaşar Kemal Cultural Centre. We would like to thank Çankaya Municipality for their contribution.
The composer of the project, pianist Yiğit Özatalay, is accompanied by Barış Ertürk on saxophone and Mustafa Kemal Emirel on drums. The premiere of the project took place on the first day of the International Izmir Film and Music Festival on 16 June 2023 and continues to take part in various valuable jazz festivals in the same year.
This project has been prepared with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
