Avrupa ve Osmanlı Saray Müzikleri İzmir DOB

Türkiye’de, barok müziği dönemin enstrümanları ve stili ile ilk seslendiren topluluk olma özelliğini taşıyan İzmir Barok, Avrupa’nın barok müziğini araştırıp yorumlamanın yanı sıra, aynı zamanda Osmanlı dönemi barok bestecilerini de repertuvarlarında barındırmaktadır. Bu bestecilerin eserlerini Avrupa müziğinin armoni esaslarına göre düzenleyip seslendiren topluluk, 3. Uluslararası Efes Opera ve Bale Festivali’nde de Jean - Baptiste Lully, Antonio Vivaldi, Gazi Giray Han, Jean - Philippe Rameau, Ali Ufki Bey, Georg Friedrich Handel gibi isimlerin eserlerini sahneleyecek.

Being the first in Turkey to use baroque period instruments and perform with the baroque style, izmir Baroque, researches and interprets European baroque music repertoire and composers as well as Ottoman music and composers of the same period. By performing these composers’ works in line with the European music harmony principles, the group will be playing masterpiece works of such as Jean - Baptiste Lully, Antonio Vivaldi, Gazi Giray Han, Jean - Philippe Rameau, Ali Ufki Bey, Georg Friedrich Handel at 3rd International Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival.
