The musical play “Such a Concert for Laughs”, which had more than 200 roadshows in different parts of Türkiye, gets a new take for children with the title “Such a Concert for Laughs for Children” and is getting ready to meet them at İstanbul State Opera and Ballet.

“Such a Concert for Laughs for Children” also includes a unique tale in the score, where it differs from the original rendition.

The play, directed towards children studying at elementary and middle schools, aims to introduce them to different branches of art, such as theatre plays, operas, ballets, and classical music, while at the same time, giving them good times by entertaining them.

Songs and arias selected from the entirety of the play, which are translated in the form of tales, are to be presented to the children in theatrical manners and expressions.

Changes and Refunds

Purchased tickets cannot be changed or refunded, except in case of cancellation of the event or change of date.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all events in AKM will be subject to specific rules. Everyone who buys a ticket will be assumed to have agreed to these rules and enforcements.
The student ticket is only valid with an available student ID. On the day of the event, the student's identity must be presented to the staff.
AKM Management reserves the right not to admit those who are considered unsuitable for the event by giving them refunds.

In accordance with the circular letter, “Mandatory PCR Test” dated 14.01.2022 issued by the Republic of Türkiye, Ministry of Internal Affairs, it has been decided on the advice of the Coronavirus Science Committee that, due to the recent course of the coronavirus pandemic and its effects on public health, it is no longer necessary to have PCR test scans prior to attending events such as concerts, cinema, or theatre.

During The Event

During the concert, recording with cameras, mobile phones, and other recording equipment is forbidden. Recording devices will not be allowed in the venues.
The events are suitable for participants aged 7 and over.
Once the event begins, no visitors will be allowed in the venue.

Venue Rules

It is required for visitors to arrive and be ready at the entrance 1 hour prior to the event.
The concert halls may change for reasons beyond control. AKM management is sure to change the seating layout, ensuring they assign the spectators a new seat in the changed venue that is closest to the prior ticket number. Purchased tickets will not be refunded due to the change of venue.
Guests are required to comply with the stated seating layout; they are obliged not to change their seats during the event.
It’s forbidden to enter the venues with food and beverages, consume tobacco or tobacco products or use e-cigarettes outside smoke-free areas.
