City-Jungle
City-Forest, which appeals to spectators from all ages, will be performed in both AKM and Fulya Sanat (SSKSM). City-Forest, which the choreographer Beyran Murphy adapted from a book called Jungle Book to the stage and thus became an original work. The project, which was designed as a modern dance-drama, approaches problems of youth and environment that closely concern the masses, through a young person’s city diary with an entertaining yet thought-provoking approach
The project’s musics belong to Rahman Altın, a globally known contemporary composers of ours. The news that were conveyed to the stage through the professional journalists Mirgün Cabas and Çiğdem Anad on City-Forest TV and the songs Athena and MaNga gifted to the stage play ensure that the valuable information in Jungle Book turns into up-to-date information.
In City-Forest, which is also a social responsbility project, tries to draw attention to datas regarding education, environment, forests and endangered animals through the language of contemporary arts and popular culture and tries to raise awareness among young people. A work that was sponsored by Yapı Kredi in 2002, City-Forest has been supported until now by the NGOs Sokak Çocukları Derneği (Foundation for Homeless Children), Eğitim Gönüllüleri Vakfı (Educational Volunteers Foundation), ÇEKÜL, ÇEVKO, and Amatem.
The main character of the work which is animated through a multi-media system is Mogli, a 14-year-old child that rides the struggle bus in the city. Upon reading Jungle Book as part of a school assignment, he starts a journey in-between real life and fantasy world. He begins to reflect the animal characters in the book on the real people and events in his life. He projects the story into his life in the city.

NOTES ON AKM EVENTS
Changes and Refunds
Purchased tickets cannot be changed or refunded, except in case of cancellation of the event or change of date.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all events in AKM will be subject to specific rules. Everyone who buys a ticket will be assumed to have agreed to these rules and enforcements.
The student ticket is only valid with an available student ID. On the day of the event, the student's identity must be presented to the staff.
AKM Management reserves the right not to admit those who are considered unsuitable for the event by giving them refunds.
For Your Health
In accordance with the Ministry of Internal Affairs notice on “PCR Requirement” dated 20.08.2021, the obligation to show a PCR test with a negative result in mass events such as concerts, movies, and stage plays will be imposed on participants who have not completed the vaccination process or have not had the disease.
Visitors who have completed their vaccinations or have had the disease can join the events by using the Hayat Eve Sığar (HES) application to show their details. At the event entrances, all controls will be done using the HES application. Visitors must download the latest versions of the HES mobile app and make the Risk Status, Vaccine Status, Disease Status, and Test Status fields in the "HES Code Settings" section accessible for the HES code to show required information. There is no PCR test requirement for visitors under the age of 18.
It is mandatory to wear a mask and cover the mouth and nose. Those who will be seen without mask will be warned, and those who do not heed warnings will be taken out of the area.
Non-contact temperature measurement will be applied to visitors at the entrance, and in cases where measurements turn out higher than 37.5 degrees, the visitors will not be taken to the venues and will be warned to contact a doctor.
During The Event
During the concert, recording with cameras, mobile phones, and other recording equipment is forbidden. Recording devices will not be allowed in the venues.
The events are suitable for participants aged 7 and over.
Once the event begins, no visitors will be allowed in the venue.
Venue Rules
It is required for visitors to arrive and be ready at the entrance 1 hour prior to the event.
The concert halls may change for reasons beyond control. AKM management is sure to change the seating layout, ensuring they assign the spectators a new seat in the changed venue that is closest to the prior ticket number. Purchased tickets will not be refunded due to the change of venue.
Guests are required to comply with the stated seating layout; they are obliged not to change their seats during the event.
It’s forbidden to enter the venues with food and beverages, consume tobacco or tobacco products or use e-cigarettes outside smoke-free areas.
