BiographyPhillip Noyce, Avustralyalı bir film ve televizyon yönetmeni ve yapımcısıdır.
1950 yılında Griffith, New South Wales’te doğmuş, Sydney Üniversitesi ve Avustralya Film, Televizyon ve Radyo Okulu’nda sinema eğitimi almıştır12. 1977’den beri tarihi dram, gerilim ve aksiyon gibi çeşitli türlerde 19’dan fazla uzun metrajlı film yönetmiştir. Bunlar arasında Newsfront, Rabbit-Proof Fence, The Quiet American, Dead Calm, Sliver, The Bone Collector, Blind Fury, The Saint, Salt, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger ve The Giver sayılabilir. Ayrıca The Cowra Breakout, Vietnam, Revenge, Roots ve What/If gibi televizyon programları da yönetmiş, yazmış ve yapımcılığını üstlenmiştir. Noyce’ un çalışmaları, Avustralya Film Ödülleri’nde En İyi Film, En İyi Yönetmen ve özel Longford Lyell ömür boyu başarı ödülü dahil olmak üzere birçok ödül kazanmıştır1.
