Dürdane’nin üniversitede okumakta olan kızı Betül, bayram için köye gelir. Dürdane kızını çok sevmektedir fakat onunla iletişim kuramamaktadır. Tatil sonrası Betül, İstanbul’a geri döner. Birkaç gün sonra intihar ettiği haberi gelir. Dürdane İstanbul’a gider. Kızının neden intihar ettiğini araştırır. Köye döndüğünde herkese farklı hikayeler anlatır. Halbuki Betül geride intihar notu bırakmıştır. Dürdane notu görmezden gelmiş, bir suçlu bulmaya çalışmıştır.
Durdane’s daughter Betul who is studying at college comes to the village for the holiday. Durdane loves her daughter so much but she can’t communicate with her. After the holiday, Betul comes back to Istanbul. A couple of days later, the news of her committing suicide is heard. Durdane goes to Istanbul. She investigates why her daughter committed suicide. When Durdane comes back to the village, she tells everybody different stories. Actually Betul left behind a suicide letter. Durdane did ignore the note and tried to find a guilty.
