Fakat Ferhat, Sarya'nın düğüne gitmesini istememektedir. Sarya'nın ailesinin köy koruculuğu (Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlere bağlı yerel güçler) yapıyor olması Ferhat'ın dünya görüşüyle çelişmektedir. Sarya, düğüne gidebilmek için Ferhat'tan izin almaya çalışır, fakat Ferhat bütün iletişim yollarını kapatmıştır. Düğüne gidemeyen Sarya'nın durumu aile kurumu içinde, bir araya gelen kişilerin özgürlük mefhumuna dikkatleri çekmektedir.
Sarya is a 30 year old mother of a girl and housewife. After her husband Ferhat was released from prison, h e ran a small carpenter shop. The wedding day of Sarya's brother has come but Ferhat doesn't want Sarya to go to the wedding. The fact that Sarya's family is a village guard (with the TAF) is reversed to Ferhat's conception of the world Sarya tries to get permission from Ferhat to be able to go to the wedding. But Ferhat has blocked all communication ways. The situation of Sarya, who can't go to the wedding, draws attention to the concept of freedom in the family institution.
