An intimate, multifaceted portrait of the Krahô people indigenous to northeastern Brazil, inspired by the oral storytelling traditions of the Krahô people. With multiple layers of time and magically beautiful images of the forests, the narrative moves between historical abuses and the ongoing struggle for identity, empowerment, and freedom. The most outspoken voice is that of the feminist mother Patpro Krahô (also one of the scriptwriters), who aims to travel to the capital to protest against Bolsonaro's aggressive policies. Through her child’s eyes, Patpro will go through three periods of the history of her indigenous people, in the heart of the Brazilian forest.
