Zacharius Usta Theatre Play
Age limit: 13+
Duration: 60 minutes
What would man do if he had the opportunity to live forever? Is man just a lump of flesh made up of a set of values, a set of possibilities that have no definition?
Everything on earth is imperfect, subject to a beginning and an end. Man is limited by life, he cannot derive something infinite from this finitude. On the one hand, he rides on the world farm for as long as he is given, on the other hand, he submits to the suggestions of his arrogance: he is convinced that this farm was built only for his uniqueness and that he will never die. Death does not come for him, but always for others. Master Zacharius tries to overcome this fate by constructing a new time-space alternative to God; he will set in motion the time that has been forgotten and has become too narrow for this world, he will turn the wheel. He will become the Lord of Time and live forever. To be compelled to live this life we are living again and countless times; this is what it means to be eternal on earth! Every pain, every joy, every indescribably small or large thing in life will repeat one after another, always in the same order - even that twilight through the trees and that spider. The eternal hourglass of existence will be turned upside down again and again with you, a speck of dust in it. The past is shattered into fragments, the present is a mere hypothesis, the trace of the future is erased.
