Bir Delinin Hatıra Defteri Theater Play
Age Limit: 14+
Duration: 90 min.
Take your place to watch the play "Bir Delinin Hatıra Defteri", which tells the inner world of a schizophrenic, with the interpretation of Metin Zakoğlu.
Bir Delinin Hatıra Defteri - (Gogol Thief)
Metin Zakoğlu's narration of "Bir Delinin Hatıra Defteri" begins with "Gogol is a Thief", then things get complicated. Zakoğlu suddenly makes the audience the protagonists of his stories, which he says are mine but stolen; he starts to see the man standing somewhere in the corner as the head of the department, the girl sitting in front of him as his lover Sofia, and another woman looking dumbfounded from the sidelines as his maid Mavra. Our actor is a real schizophrenic, and while you in the audience have come to watch a madman play a madman, you meet a real madman and that's when the show begins. Who is crazy, who is sane, who is the audience, who is the actor gets mixed up. Sometimes you are left alone with Gogol's stories, sometimes with episodes of Zakoğlu's show, and you cannot make sense of the fact that you suddenly start crying while laughing so much.
You will love Metin Zakoğlu's interactive and modern interpretation of Gogol, which is in contrast to the repetitive Gogol interpretations. No lights, no decor, no music, no curtain, just you and an actor.
