In the Istanbul of the occupation years, Captain Süha is unexpectedly forced to become the adjutant of Admiral Colthart, the commander of the occupation armies... Süha's brother Kemal and his friend Falih, whose newspaper was closed down because they drew the Admiral's head as a pumpkin in their humour magazine... While Süha is preoccupied with the National Struggle and Kemal and Falih with their newspapers, the Admiral's nephew suddenly arrives in Istanbul... Intersecting plans and confusing situations... While Anatolia burns with the pain of war, a handful of people in Istanbul struggle against the occupiers... "Bu da Geçer ya Hu" tells the story of the people of Istanbul, who are suffering from the occupation, who struggle at all costs... It offers a smiling cross-section in the dust and smoke of the war and the sadness of the occupation....
