Hamlet
1 Perde / 90 Dakika
Here before you: Hamlet, the man who adroitly conducts a play from within a play; stages and lives in it; becomes a fool with the Fool and courtly with the Courtier. He is bright as the most brilliant ones, able to put on an act so as to seem entirely crazy, while on the side, he is inquisitive, asking himself how it can be that an actor ceaselessly transitions between outfits, identities, and selves, without succumbing into madness…
Hamlet’s character, just like his turn of phrase, continuously changes. An alone man on the stage, he is both inside and outside the events surrounding him, living and yet observing and narrating from behind the scenes.
Hamlet, one of the most staged plays of William Shakespeare, is also the most spoken after, the most commented upon, and the most interpreted classical work; it continues to be a challenging character that is examined in every age.
