After Under the Castle, Physical Theatre Research is ready to share the results of a brand new research with the audience. This time we are pursuing the physical and interdisciplinary possibilities of narrative while bringing an original text to the stage. We touch upon different fields such as one-man play approaches, painting, plastic arts, photography, contemporary dance, traditional theatre, clown, storytelling. In this story, which centres the contemporary and the traditional, the rational and the mystical, madness and wisdom against the backdrop of Istanbul, we again explored the narrator actor, playful energy, enthusiasm and theatrical truth. This process, which has been ongoing since March 2019, is now waiting for its audience.
He writes on the wall: "Waiting is hotter than fire"
Is it true?
He's starting to tell me.
Will he finish?
He says something's going on in this enchanted city.
Do we understand the same thing?
But we're almost sure of this: "This world happened as you told it, if you're not there, it doesn't exist. If you have a story
you live, no story, no you"
A story about death, dreams and the city from someone whose name we don't know.
