Oyunda, çiftçi Ron’un yumurtadan yeni çıkmış sap sarı bir sürü civcivleri vardır. Sadece içlerinden bir tanesi sim siyahtır. Çiftçi Ron bu siyah civcivi istemez çünkü farklıdır. Küçük kara civciv Kim kendine bir baba bulmak için bir yolculuğa çıkar. Köpek, kedi, domuz, keçi… hiç biri onun babası olmak istememektir. Sadece tilki Kim’in babası olmak ister. Kurnaz Kim tilkinin amacının diğer tavukları yemek olduğunu anlar ve çiftçi Ron’a haber verir. Bütün tavukların hayatını kurtarır. O günden sonra hem çiftçi Ron, hem de çiftlikteki tüm hayvanlar, farklı olmasına rağmen, Kim’i aralarına kabul ederler. Figurentheater Vlinders & C° was established in 1983 and has won more than 20 awards for their artistic work. In the performance we see Farmer Ron who has a bunch of newly hatched yellow chickens from which one of them turns out to be black, its name is Kim. Farmer Ron doesn’t like Kim because it’s different. The little black chick sets out to find a father. He encounters a dog, cat, pig and a goat, none of which want to be his “papa”… except the fox. Little Kim figures out the sinister intentions of the fox and warns Farmer Ron where after all the chickens are saved.
