PLAY SUBJECT
While Hacivat is cleaning the lamp he has brought for Karagöz to maintain, clean and polish, a genie suddenly appears. The genie offers Karagöz three wishes. And he says he will fulfill everything he wants. However, Karagöz spends these three wishes on strange and unnecessary requests. What he doesn't realize is that after the three wishes he becomes a dwarf and loses his magic lamp, which changes the course of the play. Poor Karagöz embarks on a colorful journey full of adventures. The crow, the frog, the snake, the mole, the mouse and the stork accompany Karagöz on this journey. Even though he seems to have wasted these beautiful opportunities, Karagöz surprises us at the end of the play by making the best of the situation. And he shows that friendship is more valuable than anything else. Let's see if Karagöz can find his magic lamp and get rid of dwarfism.
