The art of theater dates back several millennia, but the last decade has seen a revival and unprecedented development of the genre.
Shadow theater is remarkably simple in idea and lends itself to miracles of transformation. As soon as an actor steps behind the translucent screen, the audience is transported into the animation: dark figures grow out of each other, transform and change size.
Teulis Shadow Theater proves that through the shadows of the human body all fantasies can be brought to life. The dancers of the Shadow Theater work miracles on stage with techniques beyond human capabilities, their light, ironic style is balanced on the borders of dance and acrobatics, and their stunning visual effects shock the audience every time.
For the past 10 years Teulis Shadow Theater has been a finalist in major talent competitions in Italy, Turkey, Czech Republic and Slovakia. It has toured in many countries around the world and in Japan 35,000 spectators saw the show.
