        Erkan Bektaş 11 Mart 1972 yılında Ankara'da doğdu. Ankara Üniversitesi Dil ve Tarih-Coğrafya Fakültesi Oyunculuk bölümünden mezun olan oyuncu, Ercan Yazgan-Bülent Kayabaş Tiyatrosu, Tiyatro Tempo ve Stüdyo Oyuncuları'nda çeşitli oyunlarda rol aldı. 2010 yılında kendi tiyatrosu Tiyatro Baykuş'u kuran Bektaş, pek çok televizyon dizisinde boy göstermenin yanında seslendirme yönetmenliği ve sanatçılığı yapmıştır.
