        While Helin searches for the letters written to her by her father, who was arrested and imprisoned in the 90s after the 1980 military coup and killed in an unsolved murder in prison, she also searches for the lost cassettes containing the voice of her mother, who was a famous Dengbêj but lost her voice and was condemned to silence. Helin embarks on a search for her cultural identity, her language and her past, and confronts unexpected truths.
