Youth film detailsTwo old friends, Fred and Mick, went on holiday to the Alps. Composer and conductor Fred (Michael Caine) has retired. Director Mick (Harvey Keitel) is still working. The two men, who are now nearing the end of their lives, look at everything around them with a sense of curiosity during their time at the hotel. Mick is working furiously on the script of his latest masterpiece, but Fred has no intention of giving up retirement. However, there will be someone who wants him to continue his career.
