On The Trail Of Echoes

Nevzat is the youngest son of a family that makes a living through farming in a small Anatolian town. His online gambling addiction—which he thought he had left behind—resurfaces one summer day while he is working in the garden. With each passing day, the money he loses gambling and the debts he accumulates push Nevzat further and further away from the people around him. As a deep sense of despair takes hold of his mind and soul, his relationships with his family completely break down. Nevzat cannot confide in anyone about his addiction and is forced to confront it within his own inner world.
