Babalarının mezarını ziyarete giden Barbra ve Johnny bir anda zombilerle karşılaşırlar. Kaçarak bir çiftlik evine sığınan Barbra daha sonra ona katılan Ben ile birlikte hayatta kalmaya çalışır. English Version 

Barbra and Johnny, who go to visit the graves of their parents, encounters with zombies. Having escaped to a farmhouse, Barbra tries to stay alive with Ben, who joins her later. While the news is mentioning about reviving dead, Barbra and Ben are trying to keep themselves safe in the farmhouse After a while, when five other people, who are learned to be hiding in the basement from the beginning, emerges and the conflicts and leadership struggles begin in the group. The film, which was shot in black and white and with the sound of the environment due to economic inadequacies, was very popular in the year it was published and even shown in MoMA later. The film is often regarded as a pioneer of fictional zombies in modern culture.

1968’de Night of The Living Dead ile başlayan, hayali bir zombi kıyametiyle ilgili dehşet verici ve satirik korku filmleri ile bilinen 1940 doğumlu George Andrew Romero, Amerikalı-Kanadalı bir yönetmen, yazar ve editördü. Serinin diğer filmleri arasında Down of the Dead/Zombi (1978) ve Day of the Dead /Zombi- Ölüm Günü (1985) yer alıyor. Ayrıca 1983–88 televizyon dizisi Tales from the Darkside’ı yarattı ve baş yapımcılığını üstlendi. Romero, korku filmi türünün etkili bir öncüsüdür ve Zombi filmlerinin yaratıcısı olarak anılmıştır.

English Version

Born in 1940, George Andrew Romero was an American-Canadian filmmaker, writer and editor; best known for his series of gruesome and satirical horror films about an imagined zombie apocalypse, beginning with Night of the Living Dead in 1968. Other films in the series include Dawn of the Dead (1978) and Day of the Dead (1985). He has also created and executive-produced the 1983–88 television series Tales from the Darkside. Romero is an influential pioneer of the horror film genre and is named the Father of the Zombie Films.
