ABOUT
Dönüşemeyen Semt: Süleymaniye
Dönüşemeyen Semt: Süleymaniye
Süleymaniye, son on yıllarda kentsel dönüşümün hız kazandığı İstanbul’da adeta zamana direnen bir ada mıdır; yoksa onu ayakta tutan başka nedenler mi vardır? Tarihî sokakları, yorgun ahşap evleri, taş duvarları ve gündelik hayatın iç içe geçtiği dokusuyla değişimin arafında duran bu semt, fotoğraflarla yapılan bir tanıklık projesine konu oluyor.
Yapı, Kültür ve Tabiat Varlıklarını Koruma Kurulu tarafından koruma altına alınmış tarihi eser statüsünde olduğundan mekâna karşı özel hassasiyetinizi rica edeceğiz.
