Tiflis Senfoni Orkestrası & Gürcistan Devlet Çoksesli Korosu Konseri

Vakthang Kakhidze Requiem

Gürcistan’ın dünyaca ünlü Tiflis Senfoni Orkestrası şefi ve bestecisi Vakhtang Kakhidze, 2021’de yayımladığı “Requiem” adlı eseriyle dikkat çekmiştir. Bu eser, ölüm ve kayıp üzerine derin bir müzikal düşünme olarak tanımlanır.

“Requiem” klasik requiem geleneğini Gürcü müzik kültürüyle harmanlar. İçinde koro, solistler ve orkestra için yazılmış bölümler bulunur. İlk kez 18 Kasım 2023’te Belçika’nın Anvers kentindeki Kraliçe Elisabeth Salonu’nda Europalia-Georgia festivalinde seslendirilen bu eser yurt dışında 2. Kez Ankara Müzik festivalinde tekrar seslendirilecek.

Kakhidze, bu eseri yazarken “Her besteci requiem yazamaz; bunun için ölümü ve kaybı derinden yaşamış olmak gerekir” diyerek kişisel bir içsel zorunlulukla hareket ettiğini belirtmiştir.
