Who is Babymetal ?
BiographyBabymetal, heavy metal ile Japon pop müziği unsurlarını bir araya getiren Japon bir müzik grubudur. 2010 yılında Japonya’da kurulan grup; SU-METAL (Suzuka Nakamoto), MOAMETAL (Moa Kikuchi) ve MOMOMETAL (Momoko Okazaki)’dan oluşur. Grup, “kawaii metal” olarak adlandırılan tarzıyla metal müziğin sert sound’unu pop melodileri ve koreografili sahne performanslarıyla birleştirmesiyle tanınır.
Babymetal, 2014 yılında yayımlanan kendi adını taşıyan ilk albümüyle uluslararası müzik sahnesinde dikkat çekmiş ve kısa sürede geniş bir dinleyici kitlesine ulaşmıştır. “Gimme Chocolate!!”, “Karate” ve “Megitsune” gibi şarkılarıyla dünya çapında tanınan grup, birçok uluslararası festivalde sahne almıştır.
Babymetal, yayımladığı albümler ve dünya turneleriyle Japon metal sahnesinin uluslararası alanda tanınan gruplarından biri olarak konser ve müzik çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
