Who is BEAT ?
BiographyBEAT, progresif rock sahnesinin önde gelen müzisyenlerinin bir araya gelmesiyle oluşturulan uluslararası bir müzik projesidir. Adrian Belew ve Tony Levin’in yanı sıra gitar virtüözü Steve Vai ve Tool’un davulcusu Danny Carey’den oluşan topluluk, progresif rock geleneğini çağdaş bir sahne anlayışıyla yeniden yorumlamayı amaçlar.
Proje, özellikle King Crimson’ın 1980’li yıllarda yayımlanan Discipline, Beat ve Three of a Perfect Pair albümlerine odaklanır. Bu döneme ait besteler, grubun sahne performanslarında modern düzenlemeler ve güçlü enstrümantal yorumlarla yeniden hayat bulur. Deneysel gitar çalışları, karmaşık ritim yapıları ve virtüöz performanslar BEAT’in müzikal yaklaşımının temel unsurları arasında yer alır.
BEAT, progresif rock tarihine yön vermiş bu repertuvarı güncel bir sahne prodüksiyonuyla dinleyicilerle buluşturarak konser performanslarıyla uluslararası müzik sahnesinde dikkat çeken projelerden biri olarak çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
