BiographyChristopher Edward Nolan (d. 30 Temmuz 1970) İngiliz-Amerikan film yönetmeni, senarist ve yapımcı. Westminster, Londra, İngiltere'de doğmuştur ve Amerikalı annesi nedeniyle hem İngiliz hem de Amerikan vatandaşlığına sahiptir. Memento (2000), The Prestige (2006), The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005-12), Inception (2010), Interstellar (2014) ve Dunkirk (2017) gibi eleştirmenlerce beğenilen filmleri yazıp yönetmesiyle tanınır. Nolan, yapım şirketi Syncopy Films' in kurucusudur. Eşi yapımcı Emma Thomas ve kardeşi senarist Jonathan Nolan ile sık sık işbirliği yapmaktadır. Filmlerinde genellikle karmaşık hikaye yapısı, zaman oyunları, gerçeklik algısı, insan psikolojisi ve etik sorunları gibi temaları işlemiştir. Yönettiği filmler dünya çapında 6 milyar dolardan fazla hasılat elde etmiş, 36 Oscar adaylığı ve 10 ödül kazanmıştır. 1997 yılında Emma Thomas ile evlenmiş, dört çocuk sahibi olmuştur
