Who is ENGIN ?
BiographyENGIN, vokalde ve gitarda Engin Devekıran, davulda Jonas Stiegler ve bas gitarda David Knevels’ten oluşan uluslararası bir müzik grubudur. Anadolu rock mirasını modern rock ve alternatif müzik unsurlarıyla bir araya getiren grup, farklı kültürel etkileri buluşturan kendine özgü tarzıyla dikkat çeker.
Grubun müzikal yaklaşımı, Engin Devekıran’ın Türk köklerinden beslenirken; Erkin Koray, Moğollar, Özdemir Erdoğan ve Selda Bağcan gibi sanatçıların temsil ettiği Anadolu rock geleneğinden ilham alır. Bu etkileşim, grubun repertuvarında hem özgün çalışmalar hem de Anadolu rock klasiklerinin çağdaş yorumlarıyla kendini gösterir.
Sosyal medyada milyonlarca izlenmeye ulaşan performans videolarıyla kısa sürede geniş bir dinleyici kitlesine ulaşan ENGIN, özellikle Almanya ve Türkiye’de ilgi görerek iki kültür arasında müzikal bir köprü kuran projeleriyle sahne çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
