BiographyTuncay Özinel Tiyatrosu, AST gibi topluluklarda çalışan sanatçı, Perihan Abla dizisiyle tanındı. 1963'te sinemada yer aldı. Bizimkiler dizisindeki "Kapıcı Cafer" ve Kaygısızlar dizisindeki "Memnun Kaygısız" tiplemesiyle başarılı bir karakter oyunculuğu sergiledi. Buket Dereoğlu ve Billur Yazgan'ın babasıdır.
8 Mart 2018 tarihinde İstanbul'un Sultanbeyli ilçesindeki bir hastanede inmeye bağlı çoklu organ yetmezliği nedeniyle 71 yaşında hayatını kaybetti. 10 Mart 2018'de Şakirin Camii'de düzenlenen cenaze namazının ardından Karacaahmet Mezarlığı'na defnedildi.
