Who is Füsun Demirel?
BiographyPerugia Dil Üniversitesi (1976) ve Roma Dramatik Sanatlar Akademisi tiyatro bölümünden mezun olan (1980) sanatçı, 1980'de Almanya Berlin Kollektiv Theater'da Vasıf Öngören'in yazıp yönettiği Zengin Mutfağı oyunuyla sanat hayatına başladı.
Çevre Tiyatrosu, Dormen Tiyatrosu, Devekuşu Kabare, Dostlar Tiyatrosunda çalıştı. 1984 yılında Atıf Yılmaz'ın Bir Yudum Sevgi filmi ile tiyatrodan sinemaya geçiş yaptı. Oyunculuğunun yanı sıra, iyi derecede İtalyanca, İngilizce, Almanca bilgisine dayanarak çevirmenlik yaptı ve Dario Fo ile Franca Rame'nin toplam 27 oyununu Türkçeleştirdi.
Füsun Demirel 1996 yılında ÇASOD başkanlığı yapmıştır.
