Who is Grimm Kardeşler?
BiographyGrimm Kardeşler: Jacob Grimm (1785-1863) ve Wilhelm Grimm (1786-1859), tanınmış iki Alman masal yazarıdır.
Grimm Kardeşler çeşitli mahalli lehçeleri incelemişler, daha sonra köy köy, kasaba kasaba dolaşarak, akşam sohbetlerinde yüzyıllardan beri anlatılagelen eski Alman şiirlerini, efsanelerini ve masallarını derleyip, edebi bir üslupla yeniden yazıp 1812'den sonra Çocuk ve Yuva Masalları (Kinder und Hausmärchen) adı altında yayınlamışlardır.
Bugün dünyanın her yerinde tanınan ve dinlenen bu masallar, Alman dilinin bütün inceliklerini taşır. Çünkü Grimm Kardeşler, bütün bu masal derlemeleri sırasında Alman dilini bütün teferruatıyla incelemişler ve dilin bugünkü durumunu almasına büyük hizmette bulunmuşlardır.
