Who is Ibrahim Maalouf?
Biographyİbrahim Maalouf, caz, klasik ve dünya müziği unsurlarını bir araya getiren çalışmalarıyla tanınan Lübnan asıllı Fransız trompet virtüözüdür. 1980 yılında Beyrut’ta doğan sanatçı, müzik eğitimini Fransa’da sürdürmüş ve özellikle mikrotonal çalım tekniğine imkân tanıyan özel trompetiyle uluslararası müzik sahnesinde dikkat çekmiştir.
Kariyeri boyunca caz, Orta Doğu müziği ve klasik müzik etkilerini bir araya getiren projeler geliştiren Maalouf, özgün besteleri ve sahne performanslarıyla geniş bir dinleyici kitlesine ulaşmıştır. Farklı disiplinlerle kurduğu müzikal bağlar, sanatçının eserlerinde doğu ve batı müzik geleneklerini buluşturan bir yaklaşım ortaya koyar.
İbrahim Maalouf, yayımladığı albümler, film müzikleri ve uluslararası konserleriyle çağdaş caz sahnesinde öne çıkan isimlerden biri olarak müzik çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
