        Biography

        Fransız film yönetmenidir. 1889 yılında Maisons-Laffitte, Yvelines'te doğan Cocteau gençlik yıllarında şiir ve yazına ilgi duydu. Dönemin sürrealist, dadacı ve kübist öncü sanatçılarıyla arkadaşlıklar kurdu, şiirler, piyesler, romanlar ve şarkı sözleri yazdı.
