Who is Kneecap ?
BiographyKneecap, İrlanda hip-hop sahnesinde öne çıkan Kuzey İrlandalı bir rap grubudur. Belfast merkezli topluluk; Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap ve DJ Próvaí’den oluşur. Grup, İrlandaca ve İngilizceyi bir arada kullandığı sözleri ve politik göndermeler içeren anlatımıyla kısa sürede uluslararası müzik sahnesinde dikkat çekmiştir.
Kneecap’in müziği, hip-hop ritimleriyle İrlanda kültürü ve Belfast sokak yaşamından beslenen temaları bir araya getirir. Dinamik sahne performansları ve mizahi, eleştirel söz yazımı grubun karakteristik özellikleri arasında yer alır. Yayımladıkları single ve projelerle alternatif hip-hop dinleyicileri arasında geniş bir takipçi kitlesi edinmişlerdir.
Kneecap, konser performansları ve yeni müzik çalışmalarıyla üretimini sürdürmekte; çağdaş İrlanda hip-hop sahnesinin dikkat çeken gruplarından biri olarak dinleyicileriyle buluşmaya devam etmektedir.
