Who is Özgür Avcu?
Biographyİlk, orta ve lise öğrenimini Çorlu’da tamamladıktan sonra Trakya Üniversitesi’nde Turizm ve Otelcilik okudu. Daha sonra 2004 yılında tiyatro eğitimi almak için başvurduğu Bilkent Üniversitesi Müzik ve Sahne Sanatları Fakültesi’nin Tiyatro Bölümü Reji Ana Sanat Dalı’na kabul edildi. Bu süre içerisinde Jean Tardieu’nün “Gişe” ve Anton Çehov’un “Ana Yolda” adlı oyunlarını yönetti. Bunun yanı sıra Giorgi Antadze, Yücel Erten, Münir Canar, Hakan Çimenser ve Işıl Kasapoğlu ile çalışma fırsatı buldu. 2011 yılında tiyatro eğitimini tamamladıktan sonra Ankara Devlet Tiyatroları’nda ve AST’ta çeşitli oyunlarda asistanlık yaptı. Son olarak 2013 yılında AST’ta “Dans Eden Eşek” adlı çocuk oyununu yönetti. Halen Ankara’da yaşamakta ve tiyatro çalışmalarına devam etmektedir.
