BiographyZeki Demirkubuz 1964 yılında doğdu. İlk uzun filmi C Blok'u (1994) çekene kadar çeşitli yönetmenlere asistanlık yaptı. Uluslararası eleştirmenler ve izleyiciler, Demirkubuz'u Venedik Film Festvali'nde gösterilen ikinci filmi Masumiyet'le tanıdılar. Üçüncü filmi olan Üçüncü Sayfa, Türkiye'deki film festivallerinin yanı sıra Locarno ve Rotterdam Film Festivalleri de dahil olmak üzere Avrupa'da yapılan çok sayıda film festivalinde gösterildi. Yazgı (2001) ve İtiraf (2001), 2002 yılında Cannes Film Festivalinin "Un Certain Regard" bölümünde gösterildi. Başrolünü de üstlendiği Bekleme Odası'nın (2003) ardından Masumiyet'in başlangıç öyküsünü anlatan Kader'i (2006), sonrasında Kıskanmak (2009), Yeraltı (2012), Bulantı (2015) ve Kor (2016) filmlerini yaptı.
