Adapted from the book A Song of Birds and Snakes, published in 2020 by Suzanne Collins, who wrote the Hunger Games novel series, The Hunger Games: A Song of Birds and Snakes tells the story of Coriolanus Snow, whom we see as the tyrant leader of the Capitol in the four-film series, years ago in his youth, during the 10th Hunger. In Games, Lucy Gray from District 12 tells the story of the events that took place after Baird became her mentor.
