Set in 1958 Nicosia, the movie tells the story of Ali, a young teacher who fights for his ideals. While dreaming of a peaceful future, Ali is overshadowed by inter-communal conflicts and after the painful events, he joins the ranks of the Turkish Resistance Organization.

On the one hand, his great love Aysel, for whom he risks everything, and on the other, his homeland, for which he is ready to give his life... Ali's journey turns into a struggle where not only weapons but also conscience speaks.
