In search of a way out of their bleak hometown, two teens grow close at a local modeling school, where the promise of a better life drives the girls to dangerous extremes. The film has been praised for its performances  by many critics like Guy Lodge of Variety calling it “extraordinary.”

Saule Bliuvaite

Saule Bliuvaite 1994 doğumlu Litvanyalı bir film yönetmeni ve senaristtir. Litvanya Müzik ve Tiyatro Akademisi'nde film yönetmenliği eğitimi aldı ve 2018 yılında mezun oldu. Jurgis Matulevicius'un yönettiği ve Litvanya'nın 2022 En İyi Uluslararası Uzun Metraj Film Akademi Ödülü'ne katkısı olan Isaac filminin ortak yazarı ve editörüydü. Yönetmenliğini yaptığı dört kısa filmden Limousine (2021) adlı kısa belgesel, GoEast Festivali'nde RheinMain Kısa Film Ödülü'nü ve Varşova Film Festivali'nde En İyi Belgesel Kısa Film ödülünü kazandı.

Saule Bliuvaite is a Lithuanian film director and screenwriter born in 1994. She attended the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre where she studied film directing and graduated in 2018. She was the co-author and editor of the film Isaac directed by Jurgis Matulevicius which was Lithuania’s contribution to the 2022 Academy Award for Best International Feature Film. She has directed four short films of which the documentary short Limousine (2021) has won the RheinMain Short Film Prize at the GoEast Festival and the Best Documentary Short Film award at the Warsaw Film Festival.
