        Gelecek Uzun Sürer film details

        Sumru, a music researcher at a university in Istanbul, travels to the southeast of the country for a few months for her thesis on lament collections. This short journey turns into the longest journey of her life. On this journey, Sumru's path crosses with Ahmet, who sells pirated DVDs on the streets of Diyarbakır, Uncle Antranik, the caretaker of the ruined church that stands alone in Diyarbakır, and many other characters who witness the 'unnamed war' going on in the region.
