The Traitor film details

THE SCALE OF JUSTICE

*German; Turkish and English Subtitles

*The Traitor presents a little-known fragment from the history of Switzerland, a country that was in principle neutral during the World War II. It is based on the true story of Ernst Schrämli. Although he never wants to, Ernst is obliged to become a soldier. He meets a German manipulator and begins leaking military secrets, lured by the promise of becoming a crooner in Berlin. This brave and critical period drama is a reckoning with the past and questions Switzerland’s neutrality by exposing its involvement in exporting weapons to Axis powers.
