Hatırladığım Ağaçlar, birbirlerine tutunarak hayata yeniden bağlanmaya çalışan üç kişinin hikayesini konu ediyor. İstemediği gebelik nedeniyle yaşamına son vermeyi düşünen Bahar, aldığı bir kararla intihar planını doğum sonrasına erteler. Dünyaya getireceği bebeği emanet edebileceği birini ararken, yolu yıllardır görüşmediği eski arkadaşı Mahir ve onun hayata küsmüş babası Cemal ile kesişir. Birbirinden farklı acılar taşıyan bu üç insan, aynı çatı altında geçmişleriyle ve kırgınlıklarıyla yüzleşmeye başlar. Bahar’ın gelişi, Mahir ve Cemal’in uzun süredir donmuş hayatlarını da değiştirirken, her biri yeniden umut etmeyi ve yaşamla bağ kurmayı öğrenmek zorunda kalır.
