        The Sea Inside film details

        Ramon Sampedro has lived in a bed for 30 years. After an accident in his youth, his only contact with life is his window overlooking the sea. Two women enter his life: Julia, a lawyer, and Rosa, a peasant girl. One of these two women gives the paralyzed man, paralyzed from the neck down, a taste of the meaning of life and leads to his salvation. Alejandro Amenabar's work won second prize at Venice and Best Actor for its leading actor Javier Bardem.
