Vilnius 2022. Marija has finally decided to have a frank conversation with her husband Vytas and explain to him that she wants a divorce. The next day Russia’s invasion of Ukraine went into full scale. As a wave of panic spreads across Lithuania and a refugee crisis sets in, Marija and Vytas try to maneuver through the divorce process in these newly created extraordinary circumstances. Drama by the Lithuanian director and screenwriter Andrius Blaževičius premiered in the World Dramatic Competition of the Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Best Director Award.
