76-year-old Vicente came out "of the closet" and left his wife and daughter 25 years ago, and since then he lives with his partner in Maspalomas on the island of Gran Canaria. When he suffers a stroke that leaves him in a coma, his world turns upside down: after waking up, he realizes that his daughter has placed him in a nursing home in his native Donostia. While trying to find his way in a new environment, he slowly renounces his previous life. A new film by the Basque director duo Aitor Arregi and Jose Mario Goenaga (Marco, 2025) premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival where the outstanding José Ramón Soroiz was awarded Best Actor.
